I strongly disagree with passing the bill, why should newcomers to Canada be allowed OAS when they haven't worked, lived or were born in Canada, we offer them welfare, free health care as it is. We have to start taking care of our own Seniors and especially the Veterans.

This bill is lunacy!
When immigrants arrive in Canada, do they become automatic citizens? I thought one had to live in this country for five years before applying or citizenship. This is nothing more than an attempt to buy ms dhalla votes.
