With the new park and the great pedestrian/bicyclist momentum that is taking hold in the urban core we would be foolish to build this blvd without bike lanes. I'm a realist, if the bike lanes cannot exist because of traffic, just say so. If the traffic flow isn't the issue then please don't make this blvd into another deterrent to foot traffic and bicyclists in OKC!

Completely unacceptable that there are no bike lanes at this project. This was promised in 2012 and needs to stay that way. This is supposed to be a grand entry into DT OKC (Mick Cornett's words, not mine) and is just going to be another NW Expressway downtown with sidewalks. Someone needs to come forward and say they took the bike lanes off. Wenger won't admit it and he doesn't know who took it off the renderings. This is not ok. We must hold the appropriate parties accountable.

I love seeing bikes downtown. Social interaction, better and easier access to shops, restaurants and activities is always a good thing.

I often return to OKC to visit family and always bring a bicycle with me. The new trails have been a great addition but I would love to see lanes along the new Oklahoma Boulevard that could be used to for a casual ride through downtown afterwards. This would encourage all users to slow down and enjoy the area. Studies show that increasing bicycle and foot traffic along new developments correlates with increased income for local businesses. My favorite major cities are the ones that make an effort to include Complete Streets, allowing for riders of all types to enjoy the city. Please make the right decision and make room for cyclists. Thank you.

Please include protected bike lanes in the Oklahoma Boulevard. Innovative, bike-friendly cities like Washington, DC, San Francisco, and Portland, OR do this, as do other big-league cities.

We are often told protected bike lanes are too expensive to add to existing streets. Here is a chance to add them upfront at minimal if any additional cost. Please consider doing it.

As an avid biker I would love to see designated bike lanes. Also, I have traveled the world over and the more thoughfully planned cities include bike lanes. It is both lack of though and foresight, whatever the excuse.
