Since there is no steady public transportation available, many people take to bikes as their main mode of transportation. Between our high elderly driver count and with increased tourism in the winter, the roads become unsafe for bikers, even in designated bike lanes. I bike regularly to work and on light errands in Crystal River. This is only safely possible because of the sidewalks and trails available for use. Not only will sidealks make it safer for bicycles and pedestrians, I strongly believe it will encourage more people to walk or ride their bike instead of driving to nearby destinations.

I have driven a bus down that road for a long time , it is long overdue.
Important to have a wider walk and bicycle lane on 19.
