Keep building!! if they won't let you build there, find someplace that will!! I had 2 of my jump spots as a kid get bulldozed - it hasn't stopped me form looking for legal places to build and ride.

Live in a place where these same things happen, understand the problems with illegally built trails/jumps, but maybe land managers/agencies should see that maybe people want options like this and maybe work on solutions instead of just creating more problems? Bulldozing and ignoring the symptoms won't cure anything in the long run (and probably just make things worse...)

Did you guys use timber in the construction if so that will be why forestry pulled them down I know it sucks but if you avoid timber (unless you buy tanalised which we have had to) they will destroy them. Dirt ONLY wont rot and collapse so FC not bothered about them trust me i know PS I have spoken to the FC and have asked why they were destroyed will let you know when i have an answer and hopefully we can come up with a solution that will keep both sides happy. Support the UK bicycle scene. We need places to ride for all types of bike enthusiasts! The UK has some of the top dirtjump talent in the world, we need to keep it up!

These guys have found an activity that they all love together. It is just mud and the trees will continue to grow, let these people have their fun.

FC need to be more proactive in this instance, rather than simply demolishing the trails and hoping the 'problem' disappears.

This is a brilliantly positive and constructive thing for young people to be doing. I strongly urge you to not only let them, but offer your assistance.

Building dirt jumps is an essential part of growing up .... how many in their youth didn't hang out with their mates on their BMXs and build some dirt jumps? Surely we should be encouraging outdoor activities rather than staying in playing computer games?

Better doing this with there time then hanging round streets and drinking causing trouble. Just need to get on board the the forestry commission and work together. Hope you can start building again. Thinks a great idea to give the kids something to do.

Keep going boys. Keep riding and pushing doors, but respect the Forestry Commision as you go. You'll get there...
