Please let these guys continue to transform a small corner of woodland into a haven of inspiration for many. I've seen it happen near me in Bristol and the results have been unimaginably positive for both community and forest. With best wishes, Dan

Don't kill an outside sport that takes hard work and dedication by demolishing them just because others think it's "Unsafe." They know what they are doing, they know it hurts to fall off a bike.

I think it's very important that kids learn early on that they are at the complete mercy of 'The Man' when it comes to doing anything fun in life. The triple whammy of health and safety, the nanny state and 'nimbys' should be taught it schools but these kids are getting it straight up in a raw format served in an iron fist of diggers to their jumps.
I think it's also important that they learn that if they keep on and on at the people responsible for this douchebaggery that they will eventually wear them down and get them on side. Good luck to these kids and I'm sure they will succeed! Head over to https://www.facebook.com/BelmontRidersAssociation?ref=hl and you'll see what you can do if you eventually do wear the FC down and make them see sense!

It's a shame that this even has to come to a petition. When people are trying to do something positive have it stamped out without any consultation it's disgraceful, FC should be ashamed of its self!

It's all good clean fun; real communities grow around activities like this and it's a source of independence and a creative outlet from a young age. Let 'em ride!

The nanny state needs to change. Kids are growing up in cotton wool the FC need to stand up and be men about the situation. Who has ever sued the FC successfully anyway?

I can't see what the FC's problem is. It's hardly causing an issue is it! If and when they need to harvest timber or whatever then fair enough but not just for the sake of it.

They need permission to rebuild these trails with your blessing otherwise some may start to get into some anti social behavior.

Hand built jumps are sustainable and do not damage woods anything like as much as driving tracked vehicles through; they provide a focus for dedicated and talented riders and encourage other people to become dedicated, talented riders.
Bring the trails back!!
