Someone involved in sport is not going to get into trouble elsewhere!
With biking....you are just too knackered!

It is good to see teenagers working together. Its stops them being a problem around around the streets. This should be a positive not a negative.

Come on olds give the kids a break! Here is a group of young people working together, supporting one another to provide fun and healthy exercise, why wouldn't you back them?

as long as the land is not of scientific interest and no ongoing damage to the wood which i think there wont be by moving dirt then let them build and enjoy themselves. Typical English forestry commission if this was in wales would be a different story.

Sad to see stories like this in a country where our children are turning more and more to sitting in front of their games consoles that commitees, trustees and coucils can't find their way to encourage more of this behavior allowing our youth to better enjoy the woods they wish to use.

I bet the trustees are worried about health and safety?
All they need to do is have a disclaimer drawn up and clearly posted surely and I don't see permission to build as an acceptance of responsibility!!!
Good luck guys :-)

I appeal to the trustees to work with young people and allow them to continue to build jumps. I understand that you may have concerns but I am sure a solution can be reached that will allow these hard working young people to continue to pursue their passion.
I work with young people and most of them have very little passion for anything, so to find a group like this willing to work so hard building and perfecting bike jumps and to take that away from them is a terrible shame.
