I represent www.VitalMTB.com, an international mountain bike website. The story of the Chisbury Woods jumps follows the same tale we've seen time and time again. We hope that the riders, jump builders, community and Trustees can see eye to eye soon and come to an amicable solution, just as so many others have across the world. These young men (and adults) seem willing to work for their right to a sanctioned spot to ride, and will very likely treat it with the respect and dedication it deserves. A legitimate place to ride can (and will) bring visitors into the area, helping to boost the economy over time.

We need to encourage the younger riders not take away there enjoyment, would the local authority prefer them all to be druggies, car thieves, vandals the list is endless, i support anything that helps keep the youngsters off the streets and on the trails, keep at i guys and don't let this stop u.

I know how it feels to have your jumps bulldozed after putting in all the time and effort making them as it has happened to me before. These dudes need somewhere to ride and something needs to be done to make that happen.

I know exactly how it feels to have your own personal sanctuary taken away from you, especially when you have nothing else. As a pro mountain biker I think it is vital that these kids get there jump spot back as for some of them it could lead to a long career doing what they love.

The forestry commission let people make jumps at gate 23 in Tunstal Forest. Seems quite organized. Do they not have a national modle.
Good luck.

i went through the same shit. we build and ignorants destroy, and that's not nice at all. it is important for people to have a place in which they can practice and have fun and stay out of trouble.

Trail builders and Mountain bikers are legitimate and usually conscientious of our glorious country side. Let them get on with a positive, healthy, challenging and rewarding activity. Some of them kids might be future Olympic champions.
