We the undersigned, are taxpaying citizens of Beverly, Massachusetts, who support the creation of neighborhood off-leash areas for residents and their licensed dogs. We believe that offleash exercise and socialization for dogs and their owners is a recognized and important recreational activity that promotes good citizenship and community growth. In 2002, the City Council and the Parks Department agreed to establish off leash areas in Beverly as soon as possible. As a citizen of Beverly, my signature indicates that I support the creation of, and would make use of, off leash areas for dog and their owners in Beverly.
