If i'd known that Instragram's support was as non-existent as it is, I'd never have joined. It feels frankly criminal, as in consumer rights level criminal.

Instagram's support is a joke. It's disgusting that a company worth more than a billion dollars has zero customer service. I have tried several times to recover my account to no avail.

My Instagram page got hacked and Instagram won’t help and doesn’t care. They are letting the hacker take over my page and are doing NOTHING to help me recover it !!!!!!!!!

My IG account with 127k followers has been hacked and the hackers asked me to pay to get my page back. I refused. They tries to sell my page to my followers through stories and personal messages. Didn't work. They removed the most recent pictures of mine, leaving all my videos. Uploaded their own profile picture, changed the name of my page and removed my bio. Multiple attempts to get any help from Instagram failed. They have access to my personal photos/videos/ messages.

Through a friends email account a hacker pretended to be them and messaged me. I feel for their story and my account got hacked. I went through the ridiculous “support” Center instgram has for hacked accounts. Despite all my attempts to explain what happened and get my account taken down nothing has worked. This hacker is going on to do what was done to me to others through my account, reposting photos from my insta to my story and posting things. My account was not just simply hacked, but is being used by someone else now pretending to be me. And Instagram could not care less.

The support at Instagram is smoke and mirrors, non-existent... the 2FA doesn't work whatsoever, and now they have a great situation through FB "Pages" for hackers to implement phishing pages when small businesses and monetized Instagram accounts sign up and connect the two, which I almost didn't do (and wish I hadn't), but here we are...

1.3k+ followers within 10 days of starting my launch campaigns and I got Monetized in those 10 days, to have it hacked from me through FACEBOOK PAGES.
