I live in St Clair and teach at Golden Isles. I don't even know what time to THINK about leaving in the mornings! How about students who live in Hamilton Landing??? The bus will have to turn left out, go down past McDonald's, around the traffic circle, and all the way to the end of Frederica to OPE. Were school bus schedules updated and considered??? The elementary buses pick up middle and high school students and take them to Brunswick. BIG MESS TO COME!

Stop over developing our island. What brings people to visit this place is because it isn't as developed.

The last time they closed it during the g8 conference it was a mess. I guess whoever in the county decided on this doesn't travel this way

I can find exactly ONE alternate route to my home on the north end if the island. Trouble is, it's the same one that everyone else has. I wonder if Mr. Ours has ever been on this island north of Demere Road.
The disrespect exhibited to the Island Community for the sake of convenience for the developers of the condominium project that is causing all this in the first place is utterly intolerable.

I have lived on St. Simons all my life and I feel that the people that live here do so because of traffic problems in other big cities! I am not opposed to the added development going on the Island; but abhor the way it's being done! I ask the JWSC to please find a better alternative!!!

Having only one access road onto this island for weeks at a time is unacceptable. Also, the late notification to residents of this plan further shows the lack of planning by our local government officials as well as their disregard for the needs of the SSI residents!

Judging by how long its taken them to fix whatever is going on at the corner of sea island and demere, they will probably take three months to do what they need to on sea island... terrible idea.
