We are a group of student campaigners aiming to better the worldwide quality of education. To do so we wish to raise awareness of the inequalities faced by people in developing countries. We are focusing on Rwanda as our first target as although they have a high primary school completion rate, their secondary and higher education rates are much lower. This is due to lack of teachers. As of 2012, the teacher : pupil ratio was 1 : 62, this in insane and unimaginable for many people in our society.

We aim to send this petition to His Excellency Williams Nkurunziza as a symbol of our support for the continued efforts in Rwanda such as the 9 Year Plan, as well as other countries. We hope this will be welcomed by His Excellency so that we can broadcast our support and intentions to help.

Thanks to your support we have extended our original goal from 100 to 150 signatures, please continue to support us by signing our petition so that we can prove our willingness to help Rwanda and other developing countries.
