Will need help or I’ll have to close my doors for good. This is not a choice we were given.

I've learned that working hard, being patience, and maintaining a level of conscientiousness towards my work are virtues that makes my business thrive. I do not wish for a free hand out, but during this time I cannot work for it would subject me to heightened level of exposure. I'm looking out for people in my family and community. I would choose my family and community over money any day. The problem is I have premiums to pay, loans to make payment towards, and bills to take care of. I hope everyone is doing okay during this time. This too shall pass. Most importantly is perception, you must look beyond this moment and see life as it will be.. in harmony.

On behalf of myself and my clients more needs to be done to help the self-employed and small business owners. Not only can we not pay ourselves, in some instances we also have employees that need to be paid. We have the dilemma of having to decide whether to pay expenses to keep the business going or to pay for the basic necessities. And many self- employed people have large tax bills. Delaying the deadline until July will not help. Many also have no 401(k) or other retirement plans to fall back on as a last resort. We can’t continue like this for long.

I'm 75 and self employed as my SS doesn't cover my mortgage, utilities, basic living expenses, and all the foster cats & animals I help. Now I need help to be able to help us all.

My husband is a pastor of a congregation of 170 people which is considered self employed. We pay 15% on all our income for SS. Most pastors in this country have 100-200 congregants. We are self employed.

Stay at home dad and creative freelancer who was struggling before. 75% of my business is gone and the rest is likely to follow. I am teaching my three kids now and not able to hunt down new work which was scarce to begin with. Not looking for handouts but need help.

As a full time tax paying realtor, I feel its quite unfair that we are now burdened with no ability to work and still having bills to pay!!

Need to address the 1/3 of the working population that is self-employed. It’s unfair that our taxes are supporting the other 2/3 of the workforce who would be getting the government benefits under the current proposal.
