Please, we have paid taxes just like everyone else , we work like everyone else . Most times it’s work before family, fun is last on my list! We are self motivated Humans , please consider and remember us! We work for our money , just like everyone, we have never asked for assistance, most of us serviced the financial meltdown , or we sweated thru the meltdown. That was heartbreaking for everyone one of us , Humans. Please do all you can find to help us too. It’s gratefully appreciated. Let’s work together!!

I am an independent contractor who works with schools, supporting their professional development. This work doesn’t happen when schools are closed and teachers are concerned about meeting student needs with online learning solutions.

Please consider the self employed and solo or small business owner. We serve as over 40% of today's economy and have little or no financial backstops from the government.

Forced to close my private optometric practice and I have no income to pay bills, payroll etc. Please consider the self-employed!

Please consider independent contractors during this desperate time! Real estate agents make money only through commissions. If I can’t sell houses, I make no money at all. I can’t file for unemployment! Thank you!

Self employed in a business for 20 years after being a teacher. My business deals with schools and sports which obviously neither is accusing at this time. My business will not survive a prolonged shutdown and have contributed to taxes and the economy for over 35 years. I am not looking for a handout but to give money to salaried employees and businesses and leave out self employed is mind boggling.

I have an educational consulting business that has been greatly affected by K-12 school and college closures. I want to see these goals accomplished for all of us.

I am a Self employed appliance repair service technician. I do not qualify for gov. assistance w food or any other programs offered. Since the outbreak ive not had more than 5 service calls in total. Coming from 4-6 daily jobs down to .2 per day will cause my children to go hungry, my landlord to evict me, and my truck reposessed. I will not survive this period without the adequate help. I fear for my family in this time of crisis.
