I'm a sole proprietor . I have a cleaning business in its second year.. it was bad enough I was out of work for almost 2 months last year due to a kidney stone that left me in the hospital for a week and no health insurance to top it off ( stone was not passable without it being broke down) passed the stone on Thanksgiving day well then the holidays hit figured by the first part of the year I could start getting out of the hole...... Well here I am worried now if I'll even be able to survive. While I watch other people getting unemployment benefits and stimulus packages set in place for them...... Well what about us self-employed people? Where do we turn for help? I much prefer to be working , but if something doesn't give and soon I don't know what I'm going to do..... I'm already facing eviction.

I am currently unable to work from being sick and I feel as independent workers we are even more in need. We don't get benefits for anything we are always left out of everything as if it is not lawful or feasible to work for ourselves. If we are not included in this stimulus then why do we have to pay taxes like everyone else. If we didn't have to pay taxes it would be understandable.
