Bethesda, Maryland off leash dog park

I believe many dog owners and dogs would benefit from this much needed dog park.

I have two small dogs and it would be amazing to have a dog park close by!

Please consider creating a dog park for dogs in the Bethesda area.

There are playgrounds for kids & one even got a nice upgrade. Bethesda is dog Mecca & there’s not 1 dedicated dog park. Yet on Arlington Road there’s a huge park with a softball field & another playground & plenty of space for a dog park that is fenced off. . The school has its own playground on the side & the school still acts like the park is there for the school only. Families could come & kids could play ball or be in the playground while their dog has some fun in the dog park. It would be very family oriented, especially with Bethesda being pedestrian friendly. In appreciation, dog owners would be good at picking up after their dog in order to keep the dog park.

This would definitely benefit the community.

This is essential and would be greatly appreciated by all dogs and dog owners living in downtown Bethesda! The sidewalks with barely any grass are not enough!

I was looking to love to downtown Bethesda this fall but the lack of dog parks gave me pause. I decided to renew my current lease. We need a dog parks immediately!!!

Bethesda is rapidly expanding, with more rental apartments and condominiums being built every year. With this growth comes an increase in residents — many of whom have dogs, including emotional support animals that play a vital role in their mental well-being. We need a dedicated dog park in Bethesda where dogs can play, exercise, and safely socialize, and where emotional support animals can enjoy outdoor time essential to their owners’ health and happiness.

This is a necessity not a luxury

I feel very passionate about this … what I hope for is a place to roam and smell, Not confined to a small area with mulch, so many dogs do not like too many dogs

We need a dog park!

Dog parks are excellent uses of public spaces. Frankie would love a place to safely meet up with other dogs!

I just asked my dog what he thought and he said "bark bark woof" which translates to "A safe dog park is the hallmark of a thriving community."

Dog parks help to bring the whole community together. Bethesda is seriously lacking in this area.
