We, the undersigned, are requesting an official church meeting, in accordance with Article III Section 1 of Bethesda Baptist Church's By-Laws. This meeting will have the purpose within the following agenda items:
- Deacon/Official Board will fully declare recent activities and issues.
- Pastor Palmer's official public response and reason(s) for his resignation
- Members will express concerns and desires surrounding recent events. (No personal grievances will be allowed outside of stated recent events)
We expect a response to our request, within 30 days of this dated submission to Pastor Palmer, in accordance with Article III, Section 1. Thank you for your diligence in this urgent matter.

I have spent the last few days hearing from members who feel just as sidelined and confused as I do. We are currently organizing the formal delivery of these signatures to the board to ensure they cannot ignore our request for transparency.

The momentum behind this request proves that the congregation is finally ready to demand the transparency we deserve. Seeing so many of us come together around this goal confirms that the hurt caused by these recent events is felt across our entire community.

I'm signing for the reality that we can not be divided as a Church. We must all meet and be in agreement and on 1 accord.
The congregation deserves to hear the truth about what is going on. We need this meeting now.
