The board finally reversed the opt out ordinance and our town is moving forward. It has been a long and draining fight but I am deeply relieved that we stayed the course. We have plenty of work ahead to ensure the new regulations are implemented fairly.
Recreational marijuana is now legally available in the state. Yet our local governments continue to oppress the progress that local citizens are trying to make. Please sign this petition in support of reversing the current opt out ordinance. Only 22 communities are allowing sales in the state. Thousands have opted out. Let's set a standard here and grow our economy far past where it has ever been.
We just hit 250 signatures and the work ahead is still heavy. Even with this progress the local government shows no signs of budging. I am exhausted but I am not stopping until they listen.

Our city could use this money for construction repairs and to produce jobs in our area. Just look at the success of other areas that have recreational marijuana facilities. You can’t beat facts.

The potential for tax revenue generated from cannabis related business is hard to deny! There’s already a dark market right under your eyes! My Neibor has Parkinson’s and uses CBD and THC everyday! He has completely stopped using pharmaceutical drugs unless he can’t afford the cannabis related alternatives. I would rather him use a natural product, and I Try my best to help him. Marijuana is far less harmful to human kind than alcohol.
