It is a just process allowing the community to share and consult on something that has the potential to harm our small island in many ways.

The OBA government should follow through with its committment to have a referendum. It is probably not the politically expedient thing to do as it may jeopardise their best interests but it is good for the country.

It is an outrage that the OBA Governement are going back on their word. They were supposed to be about change and transparency, go figure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If this is such a good thing for Bermuda the government should not have a problem convincing the people of Bermuda accordingly. Just give us the facts!

I believe in the right of the people to decide by referendum on the issue of gaming in Bermuda.

I am looking for government to simply do the things they say they will do, or provide legitimate reasoning for not. Opposition from the opposition party is not a valid reason.

We, the registered voters of Bermuda, should be entitled to a referendum for such an important decision.

I do not appreciate being treated like I am not capable to make a decision for my country.

Whether or not I support gambling is hardly the issue, the fact of the matter is that the government should call on the electorate to make this decision through direct democracy as opposed to pushing through a bill that may not be supported by a majority. Grievances must be aired and both sides must have a chance to get there points across with well reasoned arguments either for or against.
