If dogs were left out in the heat we call it animal cruelty & RSPCA may prosecute. Sheep & other farmed animals don't have that legal protection. As well as being in the heat at saleyards they are also exposed to extreme heat in paddocks. It's cruel & needs to be stopped.

Shade for all living beings, shade, shade, shade - dont see you humans forced to huddle together in 35 - 45 degree heat? Shade please.

This is a very basic welfare requirement. To deny it is inhumane and runs counter to the intent of POCTA.

As an ex Bendigonian I was distressed to read about the conditions that the sheep are placed under. The people have a choice, the animals do not.

Step up Bendigo and provide shade for these poor animals. My rates demand that you do this.

The most basic of welfare concerns not even being met. In 2021. Come on Bendigo, this is a no-brainer to rectify.

As a Bendigo rate payer I fully support the installation of shade for livestock at the Bendigo Livestock Exchange.
