It really isn't sexist though. I have a real hard time believing you have trouble finding cloths that follow the dress code. There are things in the dress code that are a bit of an issue, but it isn't sexist. You may believe it's sexist because what you wear, but that just because what you wear isn't dress code. Saying that, I did go to West, and I don't know how strict east is on the dress code, but if its similar to west, your just deal with it. I've never heard anyone call the dress code sexist. That seems to a bit extreme. With the issue on guys and their shorts, Its true I've never seen people get busted for having too short pants, but that's not an issue with the dress code, but with the faculty that enforces the dress code.
The dress code that is currently in place isn't that bad. The truth is, at some point, you will have to look presentable in your life. If you can't do that for 4 years, then your going to have some issues in your life. At some point, you just need to grow up, and put on a shirt with some sleeves, or a pair of pants that fit. Its nothing personal, its just life.

Being a female student that has had this problem at my own school, I can definitely relate that this dress code is unfair. I hope they reconsider!!

gender binary uniforms are such a no. self expression is neccisary and- as someone who has a uniform- they are uncomofortable and more distracting than one's own clothes.

What up fam dress code is lame belleville East is a big school and you got a lot of diversity and a lot of people so we should be able to express our self through how we dress this is a free country and my parents pay taxes to run this school yall got me messed up thinking you are gonna tell me what to wear i mean a little enforcements are ok like no short short and no tanks and no sagging but blue jeans crazy colors and fun is whats up i vote no dress code son
