I remember I got written up for my shorts being literally 1/4 inches too short above the knee. We even measured.

I really just hate dress code. I feel uncomfortable having to wear the same thing over and over again.

It's so unfortunate that girls are being held to a higher standard of dress code because it is "distracting" to male students.

I'm glad you're doing this for the people at your school and I love the way you're handling it! Maturity always helps!

okay well, i just got down reading the information on the page and honestly how they dresscode the females, different from guys, that is highly unfair. i mean honestly, why do girls have to be dresscoded for wearing a dress or skirt, thigh length? i mean it's not like guys are going to pull up their skirt //:. same with the shirts. i would rant on and on about this but i just don't have the energy at the moment. i hope you get the 1,000 signatures soon!(:

I also agree and think that this should be an example for multiple schools. Females shouldn't have to be shamed because of their clothes show a little of their shoulder, collar bones, and knees

I feel the same shod happen at west. My daughter is a freshman and while shopping for dress code attire I found it hard to find a skirt or shirts for that matter that would go below the knee. She was wearing pants when it was 100+ with humidity because I couldn't find shorts or skirts to go below the knee without her being in violation.
This is unfair!
