boys and girls dress code in the 201 district it absolutly ridiculous. we need to have freedom. "dress for success" is the stupidest thing ever

I'm happy to see someone finally taking a stand on this issue. I graduated from East this past December, and there were always guys walking around with the shorts that go up to at least mid-thigh and no one would say anything. But with all the restrictions on what girls could wear I just wore pants the whole time I went to school there, I felt as if it was my only way to avoid getting dress coded. Because if a girl were to wear shorts that the guys do, they would be stopped in the hallway and dress coded.

As a 2015 graduate from Belleville West , I fully support this. The double standard is ridiculous. What takes effect at belleville east will double over to west so hopefully this changes dress code there too
