The BC government continue to speak of British Columbia's economy and tourism is one of the only ways some of the smaller communities can bring needed funds to their area. Cancelling the Bella Coola ferry is counter active to tourism is this area.

There is a growing interest in the Chilcotin and Bella Coola area of BC in the international travel market. To keep the ferry between Bella Coola and Port Hardy in operation will be essential for the future development of this precious tourism region.

How could the government think of closing this great ferry route! Let's save money instead by reducing the managerial staff at BC ferries!
