It is atroshish to think the BC ferry service will be omitted from stopping in Bella Coola.This decission needs to be over turned as it is an economic regional killer.

I used this route twice in summer of 2013. Will use again if it's there. You can encourage ridership by reducing the fare. It used to get way more traffic before you raised the rates so high.

This service needs promotion, not cancellation. I guess it's always risky being dependent on a government service.... sometimes hard to avoid.

For a community that relies heavily on tourism taking away a reliable transportation service will no doubt cost the government in subsidies for finacial dependancies for the valley residences

Save the ferry. I visited Bella coola last year and enjoyed the ferry and hope to do it again in the future.

Why? It's a beautiful trip, you should promote it more. Better than the Vancouver to Jasper railroad trip.

The problem is a privately run type of organization with a focus on profit rather than SERVICE as a Crown Owned and Operated utility which has service first, to the people of the province. Never mind exhorbitant salaries of the Executive that need to be paid out of gate receipts..

From the south coast to Prince Rupert this port is the only other road to the coast on the entire BC coast. This connection is a tourism gem that needs to be promoted not cancelled.

Please do not let this happen. The entire coastal community and in some important ways, all of Canada, benefits from this ferry. Do not leave the this section of the coast and all of Canada, without its own transportation system!
