in this age of 'connectivity' it is counter productive to cancel route 40. Most of the youth in British Columbia's coastal communities live on reserves. They are naturally inclined to learn tourism related skills.

Why would you want to close a tourist infrastructure such as this? This ferry has added much needed economic activity to a very suppressed community, we need everything we can get.

The ferry service is one of the few ways to access the truly wondrous Bella Coola region. It would be a shame if cutting off the service kept people from visiting this unique place and led to the demise of the welcoming and hard working people in the valley

I have spent 25 years promoting this region of BC and you are wanting to wipe tourism off the map for a reason that does not make economic sense. Jobs are at stake here. Please reconsider.

With out this ferry service summer tourism will cease to exist in Bella Coola. This is catastrophic as the area is already very economically challenged

This route is very important for a lot of pour European tourist that visit Bella Coola during the summer months. By eliminating this route you will destroy all the effort we have put into this region for many years in one single decission.

I think this is a very bad situation, tourism will be affected throughout BC? Vancouver island, Bellacoola and the chilcotin. Don't we want to revitalize these areas?
