Are you crazy?? Have you ever done a study on how much this is a draw for tourism?? How could you even entertain such a notion as to cut service to Bella Coola!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please don't destroy the livelihoods of hard working coastal peoples by taking away Route 40!

This service to Bella Coola is critical, both to the residents of the area and to the tourist industry. It is disgraceful that the Government is prepared to support BC ferry plans that would result in this loss of service.

This route has served us well for many years, as we assist in providing medical service to these mid-coast communities. Route 40 provides necessary transportation for tourists, freight, and local population. Businesses like Tweedsmuir Lodge will suffer without this access. Seems like false economy to discontinue it.

I have used this route and highly recommend it to anyone traveling in BC. This is a much needed route, not only for the local economy, but for local quality of life!
