Petition Against Proposed Changes to Belle Meade Boulevard

Terrible concepts/ideas to this point!

DO NOT ruin the beauty of the boulevard….. save the trees!

Belle Meade Blvd is a beautiful landmark of Nashville and should not be altered.

Enforcing the rule of only using the left lane to pass or turn would alleviate the safety concerns being presented. The proposed plan will make it more dangerous-they got a clue how wide trucks and suvs are these days?

I live at 319 Lynnwood Blvd. and support preserving the Bell Meade Boulevard as is. What makes our community great is that it does not have bicycle lanes and pedestrian walkways. It preserves the aesthetics of our neighborhood and makes us unique to Nashville.

Please protect this historic part of our city

Sometimes, while sitting on my beautiful Japanese toilet, reaching for my monogrammed toilet paper when not feeling like the bidet is the right call, I am forced to look out my window and see the occasional jogger whose great-great-grandparents never elephant walked at Delta Kappa Epsilon with my great-great-grandparents, and it makes me sad. Please don't make me look at any more poors. I don't want to have to explain to the family office why I need an eighth house.

Listen poors, we'll pretend to care about you, but we don't want you jogging in our neighborhood. Now pardon us while we talk about how bad Bill Lee is while planning to prevent housing and recreation for anyone poorer than us.

I continue to oppose any and all plans for pedestrian paths, sidewalks, walkways along BMB as I have in numerous written correspondences over the past 25-30 years. Thank you.

Save the trees!

This is a terrible for homeowners and home values. How does this make sense to anyone when there is a park just a few minutes away where people can walk.

Leave Belle Meade Boulevard the way it is!

I oppose the proposed changes to Belle Meade Boulevard. I believe they have been proposed without thorough examination and more importantly, without the input of residents.

Spend the money better elsewhere such as police & overall security of our homes!

I live at 1208 Nichol Ln, Nashville TN 37205 and I strongly oppose the changes to Belle Meade Blvd. It will only increase the existing traffic problem and is trying to solve a problem that doesn’t exist. It’s all very confusing. It’s a beautiful historic place, let’s keep it that way.
