Why destroy a historical thing of beauty which complements the meighborhood so well? Especially as those who live on tje street do not want it to happen based on all the signs in yards. No, no. no!

We’ve vacationed in Nashville and Franklin (right now actually). The plantation is beautiful and went both times. The area is also awesome and deserves to be preserved. Love from Buffalo, New York.

I don’t live in Belle Meade but every time I drive down BMB it is so refreshing and makes me feel like I’m a part of the community.

Although I do not live in the Belle Meade area, I travel the boulevard. I’ve always found it to be a most pleasant drive. I would hate to see the proposed changes made as I feel it would negatively affect the beauty of the boulevard and bring about dangerous traffic situations for automobiles and pedestrians.
Where would people coming from outside the area? On side streets? So neighbors living on other streets would be affected by addition traffic and cars parked in front of their houses.

This is a ridiculous idea. Narrowing lanes for cyclists? Expecting road runners to run on sidewalks? That would never happen, and walkers would be compromised and in the way if it did. For those reasons alone, this idea should be scrapped. (I have been a Belle Meade homeowner and resident for over twenty years.)
