Why don’t you spend the money on sidewalks in the Nations instead. Do not change the beautiful Boulevard.

There's no need for sidewalks on BelleMeade boulevard. The money would be better spent elsewhere.

This is a beautiful historic landmark!!! Every avenue needs to be exhausted for protection of this area.

I take tour buses down the Blvd. Narrowing the lane is a huge mistake.

Please do not change the boulevard. Nashville has wiped out most of its history. The boulevard remains one of the last places that gives one a sense of peace and love for our community. I would like to make a suggestion. If possible, close the boulevard to pedestrian and bike usage except for residents. Residents must have proof of residency. This process seems to work for other communities.

Absolutely beautiful drive along this boulevard and plenty of other places nearby to walk with your friends or pets. Spend the $3.8 mil on some other democratic social program, but leave the boulevard alone.

I strongly oppose the proposed conversion of Bell Meade Boulevard into a pedestrian-only walkway. This street is more than just a thoroughfare—it is a historically significant artery of our community and a longstanding fixture in the daily lives of its residents. Altering its function would not only disrupt traffic flow and essential access, but also fundamentally change the character and rhythm of the neighborhood. Such a proposal would invite increased foot traffic from outside the area, potentially leading to unintended consequences such as congestion, diminished privacy, and even a rise in opportunistic crime. The idea, while perhaps well-intentioned, overlooks the lived realities of those who actually reside here. Bell Meade Boulevard should be preserved in its current form—not erased or reimagined without full consideration of the people it directly impacts.

What they've done to 12th Ave South is an absolute disaster.
