It’s a beautiful historical site that should be saved!

I live down the road from Belden House. It should be preserved and repurposed. Its a beautiful piece of history.

I thought your full-page ad in the MAHOPAC NEWS was poignant and riveting. Thank you, Friends of Belden House! Do preserve this unique piece of Putnam County history!

History cannot be replaced. Once it's gone, it's gone forever. This could be a source of pride for Putnam county. Please save this historical treasure!

It is a disgrace that NYC has allowed this beautiful, historic structure to decay. We cooperate with NYC using our land and we have kept the water safe for city residents for 100 plus years. NYC should restore the house and give it back to the county.

Protect our history!!!

This is an iconic building that we must protect and preserve.

Please save this valuable piece of history and beauty to it's long lost grandeur.

I grew up gazing at this beautiful house daily, and calling ‘good night’ to the horses in the small barn across the road. DEP’s neglect to the building has been depressing to watch over the years. This historic architecture should be preserved.

Family roots from the area, would like to see the preservation of historical landmarks!
