As users of the road we petition for the speed limit to be lowered to 20mph and for measures to discourage heavy vehicles from using it to avoid the pinch point on Waingels Road.
We request road signs indicating that the road is used by pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders.
We urge Wokingham council to grant a 'Quiet Lane' status for this unique area.
We value the Green wedge area between Charvil and Woodley and want the council to put in place orders to protect it from urbanisation and to conserve the eco-system.

honestly speechless seeing so many people agree that beggars hill road needs some protection. the momentum is real and its because of all of you showing up for this space. now we keep pushing to make sure the council actually listens.

been living here 20 years and its never been this dangerous!! put the signs up already.
Keep our green space green. dont let it turn into a main road.
ridiculous how many trucks try to squeeze through this lane. it was never meant for that kind of traffic.
My kids cycle this way to school and im always worried sick about them. please sort this out wokingham council.
Too many cars speeding down here when I am walking the dog. Its only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

Used to be a quiet country lane now its a rat run. Needs a 20 limit asap.
