I lay awake thinking about how many children I have seen crying on the sidelines while that horrible recording plays. Seeing your stories about the humiliation this test causes confirms that we absolutely must remove this from the curriculum.

Seeing this momentum grow brings back every awful memory of standing on that gym floor in total silence. I never thought people would listen, but this energy shows that so many others felt that same humiliation and pain.

I watched my friend have a severe heat stroke while doing the beep test. Our teacher kept pushing her to go on..
The beep test is actually cruelty. Children are forced to undergo this without a say and end up in a worse condition
The beep test becomes a competition where kids end up pushing themselves too far.
literally the worst part of pe. i have asthma and the teachers just dont care they just yell at you to run faster when you cant breathe.
hate this SO MUCH. my heart goes way too fast and i feel like throwing up every single time. why do we even do this in 40 degree heat??
