It’s obvious. Circulating posts of photoshopped images leads to self denial, leading to anxiety, leading to depression, and in severe cases, leading to suicidal thoughts/suicide. SIGN THIS PETITION

Believing what you are seeing should be a fact Using age appropriate models to sell products would be realistic

Yes, it should be displayed whether a picture was photoshopped, enhanced in any way.

The dangerous psychological effects of photoshop have been proven. This has resulted in low self-esteem, depression, eating disorders and even suicide among (predominantly) our youth.
The mind of a teenager is unable to hold the nuance associated with determining whether an online image may be doctored. This creates a dissociative effect whereby the viewer immediately compares themselves to what they perceive as reality. By requiring that doctored images come with a warning, there becomes a possibility of limiting some of the danger associated with online browsing.
We are flooded with images every single day. When the line between reality and fantasy is compromised, the danger begins. I applaud the efforts of this petition and encourage others to join in and help spread this message.
