I was the last house before the Marina when I purchased in 2006 and then Beau Chene allowed Steven Plough to build houses between my house and the Marina, which then immediately resulted in water to backing up damaging my home and landscape. Sadly, if Beau Chene allows the new
building proposal, the added income would not benefit the homeowners.

The Board of Directors of Marina Beau Chene Boat House Condo Association submitted 6 reasons for not allowing this project to be approved: 1) Inadequate existing roadway access 2) Lack of proper road clearance to existing Boat Houses 3) Lack of parking for marina visitors 4) Lack of flood drainage 5) Traffic congestion 6) Emergency vehicle access and 7) Higher Insurance Risks.
The St. Tammy Parrish Commission voted 7 for, 2 against. This vote did not represent those living in the Marina that will have to live with this project's shortcomings.
