Interior roads are lazy, most of the time they are sleeping at a pull out. You can draw a line in the road where there contract starts.

I live in Williams Lake and drive regularly to 108 Mile. In less than two weeks this major highway has been closed at Lac La Hache and 70 Mile due to major accidents involving road conditions. Winter has barely started this year. How many more accidents will this area be subjected to due to virtually no road maintenance. When I travelled to 108 Mile the morning of November 27th the roads were wet and slushy to the start of the four lane highway just noth of LLH lake and from there until the Community Hall in 108 the roads were a sheet of ice. It was only -2 Celsius and ice melting liquid would have made a huge difference. Road services past Lac La Hache had used the liquid as the spray lines were obvious and the road was bare and wet.

I'm sad that we need to sign a petition to have acceptable driving conditions.

I totally agree with all points of this petition. 100 Mile area roads are the worst I have ever seen in all my travels.

We were in an accident friday november 25th on highway 97 by highway 24 intersection due due improperly plowed and sanded road conditions. We needs much better care of our roads. The employees do their very best they can i place no blame on them personally but with the people they work for.

My family and I currently have to drive these roads quite frequently as I am due in a few months to have my baby and my doctor is located in Williams lake. It is terrifying driving these roads and constantly passing by accident scenes, or overturned vehicles. It can happen to anyone!

Poor service, the bare minimum done on highways. Roads in 108 are left in terrible unsafe conditions all the time. Previous 2 seasons... private citizens are using pickup truck plows to do government roads

just seems to be the part of the highway that 100 Mile is responsible for. And is getting expensive to replace my windshield every spring.

The rds around are atrocious, most the side rds don't get plowed or sanded for a week or more after a snowfall let alone graded on a regular basis in the summer

Time for change in our area and safer roads
