I agree that this section of highway is poorly maintained.

Hwy road maintenance is operated by private for-profit companies. More plows and operators means less profit. Its really that simple. Ask your MLA what she is going to do about it. Good luck.

Why do people have to die or get injured before sand is thrown on the road? Really.. come on !!

Absolutely no reason why these roads are so poorly maintained!! Yes people need to slow down and yes people need to be cautious and prepared but the roads need to be plowed and they need to sanded!! And real sand would be preferable over the rock they use instead. We can't all afford two windshield replacements a year!!

Came for a visit in the interior and got 2 cracks in my windshield from the material being used. Would be nice to avoid this by having high quality sand and salt used instead.

My Husband commutes from the 108 to Williams Lake daily, and he said it's a clear line from bad to good once he hits the 130 Mile area. IR says it's the same manager on both sides? Then why is there such a difference? Do the workers on the 100 Mile side just not give a s$&t about their jobs or human lives? They need to stop being proactive and not reactive!! You don't see the trucks out, but as soon as there are serious accidents they finally appear and start actually doing something. It never fails. Sadly enough the best time to travel the roads in the Cariboo is after someone is killed, because you know they will actually get their asses out and finally do their jobs.

Ive lived in Lac La Hache for 10 years now, and my wife works in Williams Lake. There is a line literally in the highway where the contracts meet from the north to the south. This line is at Buffalo Corners north of Lac La Hache. The maintenance of the highway from this point south is almost non-existant, and when theres 6 inches of snow covering glare ice, any speed is dangerous. These contractors need to be hit with a very large lawsuit to get their attention and shame on the local govt agencies for not kicking their asses...Now we have a public outcry, how many people have to die before they decide to stop trying to save money, and do the job right,,,70 mile south and Buffalo Corners north dont seem to have a problem with it,,,

It pretty bad when year after year Interior Roads has neglected our area so bad that lives are being lost at an alarming rate..from last year's final snowfall to today our logging road WS/1300Rd/Helena Lake hasn't been even graded..this is an emergency access road in case of accidents between Wright Station and Tattoo. .I again this year will call daily when it becomes a impassable or a danger..their are people with disabilities that live along this road..Time for Ministry of Transportation to start doing something. .our tax dollars are paid!
