We rebuilt our house last year and to lose this road would be economically devastating.

Me and my son thats three years old travel there very often. Me and him were involved in a house fire in 2013. So we go through there very often for doc apts and surgery. We just went through there because my son had his 16th surgery. Its very important to us. Also all the people that live there.

It would be a tragedy of there was a hurricane and people couldn't get out fast enough not to mention the road was built for a reason in the first place and should be maintained or up graded for legitimate use.

The last few years the hurricane season have been mild, but 2015 proved to remind all the need for action to determine a permanent solution to ensure the residents of the Bolivar Peninsula a working escape root in the event of a real hurricane!
