This absolutely needs to be fixed! Too many people get trapped when they come or go to the beach. Dangerous situation with this part of the highway!

So many people depend on this road to get to and from work. Try approaching this the same way that was done at Sargeant Beach by Gov. Ann Richards.

It's been 8 years and very little has been done! Where are you TXDOT??? Robert Nichols, Jeff Austin III and the rest of our state officials. This is a disgrace to the people of Texas! People died here during IKE because they couldn't get out! Is it going to happen again? This road is the only evacuation road out of here! Do something about it!

We love going to the beach but rely on local available information for our safety since we don't live in the area to know of dangers. We trace that road often and want continued safe access.
