Going through is sometimes very difficult. It's not good to have problems with a main highway when I have to deal with getting product delivered to our store. I also have to travel this way to visit our store. It is affecting business at Crystal Beach.

This is getting ridiculous. This is a residential, tourist, and business area and the road must be fixed. I'm unclear why it's taking so long to get this started. Studies have been done and this SHOULD BE A PRIORITY. Before you know it another hurricane season will be upon us. However, it doesn't take a hurricane or even a tropical storm to make this road impassible and destroy what's already done to bandaid the problem.

While Galveston enjoys a newly minted $19Million Beach the main/only land evacuation route for The Bolivar Peninsula goes ignored. Throwing sand on it is not a solution. Not only is it dangerous during bad weather, if there is a big storm and people can't evacuate, people will die. Enjoy your $19Million Dollar Beach and remember Bolivar Residents Tax Dollars helped fund it yet they will be left stranded in a storm.
