I have family living on the beach and know they need to have this highway fixed so they can travel back and for to Beaumont are just anyplace the road has been like this since Ike and needs to be fixed.

This road way needs to be fixed, when hurrican Ike was on its way, that was my only means of getting out of here because the ferry was doing all it could to move us off the penisular.

There is absolutely no reason for this heavily traveled road, and traveled by many from other states just to enjoy our beach's, has not been fixed. Someone is not doing the job they were hired to do on the over taxed publics wallets. TXDOT we know your all lazy, but pull your heads out of your ass, and fix the problem. Dont make your boss tell you how to do it, you people are really useless more and more every day. You are definitely not worth your salaries, and this needs to be brought up.

Hwy 87 needs to be repaired BADLY! The people of the Peninsula have heard nothing but empty promises and "band-aide" solutions since Hurricane Ike destroyed the dunes. These people are resilient but not immortal, A death, due to debris on the roadway, should NOT be the prerequisite in order for TXDOT to be motivated to correct the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hwy is in much need . Is this not Galveston county . Like this is the other side of the track . If you put money in Galveston ., need to invest some on this side .

Thank goodness we have received some attention for this dangerous situation. Unacceptable it has taken TXDOT 7 years to address preserving lives of those traveling to and from Bolivar Peninsula.
