I have to drive 2hrs for cancer treatments and I come from Lumberton tx.. Going down this way is a lot fast then all the way through Houston to Galveston. I can get home to my kids sooner so they have as much of a normal life as possible. We also go to the beach all the time and Galveston and rent a beach house every summer. If something isn't done soon this road will be just like 87 to Sabine pass and will be no road and that cute little community won't exist anymore. Do something and do it now.

Please fix this road. I was raised on the peninsula and I do remember the ferry being shut down due to spills. What if that road was closed down and there was a spill and someone needed medical attention? Don't put the bolivar peninsula residents life in danger.

This road is used by many people to enjoy the beach. After the hurricane Galveston received a lot of relief money that covers the whole country. Very little was used in the hardest hit in the county. Then are taxes have gob sky high and still little has been done. If the country officials have their way the road will wash away so it brings all residents and weekenders thru Galveston so the city will gain more profit.

Please do not continue to endanger the residents, full-time & part-time, as well as the tourists of the peninsula. They need and deserve safe travel to and from work, amenities as well as an evacuation route when needed.
