Hwy 87 is vital to the peninsula. In cases, such as Ike, it was the only way off of the peninsula and the only route to higher ground. It is extremely important to fix the highway. Without it, lives are at risk.

Please fix our Highway It is in Serious Danger of being impassable! Soon (if nothing is done) The Gulf will wash this Highway Away! A lot of people use this road every day Why do they keep patching it instead of finding a permanent solution !

Hwy. 87 has always been the major access to the Gulf of Mexico beach for Jefferson County residents. It provides access to beach homes and businesses. TEXAS - DO THE RIGHT THING AND RESTORE THIS ROAD! Thank you.
