This is not just a matter of inconvenience, This is a public safety issue on an evacuation route which is often closed. Quick fixes are no longer needed, lives are at stake.

Please fix road. My family got stuck on peninsula during a storm. When we tried to leave the intersection was flooded due to storm and high tide. Very scary experience.

My family lives here full time. I use the road daily. I worry about the safety of my daughter riding the bus to and from school (High Island - Gilchrist). The thought of being trapped and/or separated from my family is terrifying!! Please keep Bolivar residents safe!!

The beach highway 87 is in desperate need of repair or replacement. A new road angled from the High Island bridge may be the answer.
