This needs IMMEDIATE attention. If a named storm comes in and is a major threat there will be LIVES lost because of no way out!! Sick of the excuses and band aides that are NOT WORKING!!

Poor Texas can't afford a causeway or dredged sand for beaches like other States. No money coming out of tourism, oil, freight, fishermen, insurance, businesses or taxes from homes. Wonder when the Gulf Of Mexico will be relocated to provide resources for the rest of the world while we do without? What politics we live with and think it's okay. Ever feel like suckers between Galveston & La.?

I lived in Crystal Beach for 12 years and have heard all of the BS rhetoric from Galveston on why they don't take care of Bolivar. It seems strange that Galveston doesn't have the money, but if you go down the coast to Freeport, Bryan Beach, and Matagorda, they were able to build large bridges going from the mainland to the small islands which do not have any where near the population that Bolivar has living on it. So if you want help, we need to contact our congressmen, senators, Texas governor, and the Galveston city council, and mayor.

Beside the obivious of needing a safe road for evacuations is the people that live on the peninsula full time and have to travel to work. Around the curve. Or the people that live off the peninsula but are employed on the peninsula. Dangerous

Have lived here for 50 years and have joined many groups to get this fixed, to no avail. BuT we still have to pay taxes on it. Will try one more time.
