My Grandsons live in Crystal Beach and ride the school bus to High Island. Something needs to been done now for them and other children to travel to school safely!

We need to be able to count on a way to evacuate if necessary. Not to mention just wanting to go that way traveling for us and tourists that come.

I do not understand the need to spend millions to change IH10 to go over Major Dr in Beaumont and not address the serious problem of Hwy 124 @ Hwy 87, a life line road in and out of the Bolivar peninsula. I would like TX DOT to explain that one.

I am a new resident to Crystal beach due to flooding Orange Tx. My husband and I now commute every day to Motiva in Port Arthur. We see that highway old 87 at High island is eroding due to high tides. If something isn't done to fix this road, it will affect the Bolivar economy and force people to move.
