It's definitely a safety issues. That way gets blocked quickly & the ferry can't handle evacuations.

We have wished for the restoration of Hwy 87 for soooo long. But not only that, the erosion will continue; destroying wetlands.

Transportation should be upgrade, possibly increasing the hieght with engineered dirt and have some way for the water to pass underneath without sweeping out the soil

This should have been done right after hurricane Ike. I personally barely made it out then, so lets not wait for another storm and more people get killed before the powers that be wakes up.

Since Ike that part of Hwy 87 has been left to fall apart and should have tried to put a dune back or a barrier alone that part of 87
