For too long there has been too much silence. We've stepped back when we should've stepped up. We have avoided the tough conversations. It stops now. It stops with us. As Bradley students we recognize that sexual assault is a real problem and that it is time to take action. We're standing together as a community because this issue affects us all. We can only end sexual assault on our campus if we are braver together. Starting now we refuse to look the other way. We will make a move and do something to prevent sexual assault before it's too late. We will promote a culture of respect for all students. We will say something, even when it is easier to remain silent. We will make sure our friends get home safe. We will stand up for survivors, and never blame them. We will hold our friends, our leaders, our teammates, and ourselves accountable for our actions. When we see something wrong we will be brave enough to interrupt. We will say something. We will do something. We will watch out for each other. Always. Being a Bradley Brave means ending the silence. Together, we can work to end sexual assault and rape culture in our community.
