Not sure why a week long fall break is necessary, but will support the calendar voted on by the board. Do not want to see a calendar with no spring break for high school.

I am not in favor of fall break but since new draft of BHS calendar came out I would rather board stick to their decision and not approve a different schedule for BHS.

I support the current approved calendar. This was worked on tirelessly by a committee, and approved by the board. We should give it a year and then reflect collaboratively after that year. Now, someone has drafted an alternate calendar for the high school that has a few days off in October and zero spring break, and school finished weeks before the rest of the district. As a parent who will have children at the high school & elementary at the same time, as well as being a employee on the elementary calendar, this will cause a lot of hardship within my own family.

I support what has been voted on by the board. There was time for everyone to have their voice heard and a decision has been made. It should not be up for question again.

I fully support a fall break. Students, teachers and staff all benefit from time away from the classroom, and in some cases, each other.

I am in favor of the fall break calendar. I have been both a teacher and a parent on the calendar and have found it to be beneficial.
