As of now, the shelter is short-staffed and the animals aren't getting the love and affection they could be getting. A volunteer program is an excellent way to provide care for the shelter pets while staying in budget.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you care about these shelter animals. This momentum belongs entirely to you because I truly never imagined this would reach so many people.

These poor dogs sit in those cages all day with no human interaction. It kills me to think about them being so lonely. They need people to walk them and give them some love.
Unbelievable that this isnt already a thing. I live right down the road and would be there every weekend to help out if they let me. Fix this now!

Should have been done years ago. Free labor is right there, just let them help the animals!
