Love the Libanus mountain centre such a great place to start and end a walk. Would be gutted if it closes - so short sighted.

The Centre has always been part of heart of the Beacons. Not everyone is able to walkvthe hills and reachbthe peaks. We need a place that can accomodate the less abled and inform the youngsters of what they have in their back garden. To ckose the centre would be like turning off life support because the electric bill is high! Get a grip!!!

No foresight here or at Storey Arms for tourism.

Another example of money mismanaged...Thatcher Museum? Coffee and cake with a view? I know which I'd prefer.

This centre is a wonderful resource for gaining an understanding and overview of the park, important to occasional visitors and regulars alike.

The statutary duty of BBNP Authority is to protect the natural beauty of the Park, to help visitors enjoy and understand it; and to foster the wellbeing of local people.
How does closing visitor centres enhance the delivery of any of these duties?

This is so stupid. The beacons and surrounding areas need visitors, and this is a prime attraction.

Everything is getting cut or closed. We need these places for our children to learn especially about where we live and our history of Wales.

This is a very shortsighted 'sticking plaster' to cope with the funding cuts. Also, it's not only tourists who use these facilities. It's locals who are relatively new to the area & trying to get to know it better..

The visitors centre at Libanus is an important facility, that is well used by visitors. Closing it would be such a short-sighted move.

Education is so important to help people understand conservation. This is a huge resource to help people appreciate the area. Surely savings could be made elsewhere? Why spend more money converting somewhere else?

It would be a major disaster to tourism in this area if any Information Centres were closed. It would have a severe knock effect.

It's really important to keep the mountain centre at Brecon Beacons in this era of trying to tackle obesity and the drain on the NHS. Anything that supports outside activity and community lifestyle must surely be supported!

Such an important and interesting facility should be kept open for visitors and locals.

The visitor centre is one of the only things that draws visitors to the Park, if the visitor centre is closed it'll lead to the death of the BBNP.

That's Common Sense! Close the best part of The National Park, where all our visitors go to for information on the area when they arrive! Cut back on the higher paid jobs in the air condition offices instead! Too many Chiefs, not enough of Indians!"!!!!!!!
